1UP Martial Arts is committed to making our website and our school welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we've done

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link for screen reader and keyboard users.
  • Keyboard access and visible focus indicators for menus, dialogs, and forms.
  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and labels on every form field.
  • Color contrast targets for body text, buttons, and interactive elements.
  • Responsive layouts and tap targets sized for phones, tablets, and desktops.
  • A built-in accessibility toolbar (the icon on the left edge of every page) with text sizing, grayscale, high contrast, negative contrast, light background, link underlines, and a readable font.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences on animated content.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review new pages and features as they're added, and we correct issues as we find them or as they're reported to us. Some third-party content, such as embedded maps or scheduling tools, is outside our direct control; we ask those vendors to meet the same standards.

In our school

Our Winter Park location is ground level with accessible parking and entry. If your child needs an accommodation to train with us — sensory, physical, or otherwise — tell us before your first class and we'll plan for it with you.
